Both the familiar family hatches, the Ford Fiesta & Ford Focus are now available as Mild-Hybrids. What is a mHEV? The internal combustion engine is assisted by an electric motor. At low speed, or when stationary, the engine can switch itself off and the 48V starter-generator seamlessly restarts when needed. The separate 48V Li-ion battery is automatically recharged by regenerative braking during coasting and braking. There is no requirement to connect the battery to a power source.

EcoBoost Hybrid will be available on Fiesta, Focus and Puma with our 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine. Using the latest Euro 6 diesel technology, EcoBlue Hybrid will be offered on Transit Custom and Transit.

An advanced electric powertrain lets you make shorter trips with zero emissions, and can charge anywhere you have access to mains. For longer journeys, 2.5L Duratec petrol engine ensures you can go as far as you want, and helps recharge the battery in the process. This Plug-in Hybrid definitely is a no compromise option, delivering the best of both worlds.
The Ford Kuga is also available as a Full Hybrid-Electrical Vehicle, without the need to plug-in!
S-MAX is now available with a new FHEV (Fully Hybrid Electric Vehicle) powertrain. This 2.5-litre petrol engine hybrid system delivers 190PS and 200Nm of torque – exceptional figures for a hybrid. Its equally impressive towing capacity of up to 1750 kg lets you take anything from a jet ski to a small caravan on your travels. As you’d expect, the engine is also fuel-efficient, and has a reduced fuel emissions. There’s no need for plug-in charging, and the battery is nested under the boot floor, so you don’t lose any luggage space.
Thanks to our cutting-edge technology, there’s no longer a trade-off between power and efficiency. The Galaxy hybrid is available with our latest 2.5-litre petrol hybrid system, which delivers an exceptional 190 PS and 200 Nm of torque, alongside improved fuel economy..
Similar to our S-MAX Hybrid, there’s no need for plug-in charging, the battery is nested under the boot floor, so you don’t lose any luggage space.
