Apprentice Vehicle Technician

Location: Keith Motors Verwood
Hours: Full Time, including college block release
Salary: Apprenticeship rate (based on age and experience)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our busy Service Department. This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn gaining hands-on experience in a professional workshop while completing your NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. You’ll be supported every step of the way by a skilled and friendly team who will help you develop into a fully qualified Vehicle Technician.

Main Responsibilities

Assist with general servicing and repairs to cars and light commercial vehicles
Support video health check reporting and learn how to identify maintenance needs
Develop diagnostic skills using the latest Ford tools and technology
Help carry out warranty and recall work under supervision
Learn to fit accessories and vehicle upgrades
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

What We’re Looking For

A genuine interest in cars, mechanics, and the automotive industry
A strong desire to learn and build a long-term career in vehicle repair
Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
The ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions

Qualifications Required

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science preferred
A Full UK Driving Licence is beneficial but not essential
